Self Study

Let's face it - some people just aren't "group people." They prefer to study God's Word alone (just them and the Holy Spirit). That's fine!

If that is you, don't feel pressured to join or start a group. The BB curriculum will work just fine for you. Simply download or purchase a Study Guide, establish a regular routine for yourself, and begin.

If you change your mind later and want someone to discuss what you are learning with, join or start a group of your own.

In-Person Groups

There is no "official BB Group" - it's your group! It may be a small group of family, friends or fellow church members. Or it may be your whole church congregation on Wednesday or Sunday nights or ...

You decide (who, when, how, frequency, etc. etc.).

Want to visit each other's homes? Great!

Mix it with a potluck? Even better! (If you ask me...)

Bema Builder groups may wish to watch the videos offered free of charge or may use the self-paced Bible Studies that are self-contained (no video needed).

Depending on how long and how often you meet, the "curriculum plan" could take substantially less than a year - or not. It should allow for plenty of breaks for holidays, summer vacations, etc. You decide what works best for you and your group.

This is especially important for accountability and encouragement - both key to the Christian walk.

Electronic Meetings

You may wish to host or join an electronic meeting such as Zoom. This can easily be done using Zoom's "share screen" feature. This works best with the Self-paced Bible Studies that don't require a video. It is best if each person reads and completes the "blanks" in each chapter before the meeting. It will then be the responsibility of the host to facilitate the discussion going through the chapter together and sharing experiences along the way.

This is ideal for people who can't attend an in-person meeting but wants to have a discussion group for support and clarification along the way.

Simply decide who will be the host, what "rules" your group wishes to operate under, download or purchase your own workbooks and get started!
